Pepper Pump 2190

Refiling the pepper pump is tricky but the instructions that accompany this mill are as follows:

TO FILL:: Turn the mill upside down. Loosen the adjustment wing-nut on the bottom by turning left (counterclockwise). Remove the adjustment wing-nut; fill with peppercorns.

The tricky part is keeping the shaft from turning while un-screwing the wing-nut.

I had to wedge a small tool into the space where the pepper comes out to put pressure on the shaft to loosen the adjustment wing-nut.

The wing-nut will not come off if the shaft turns as you are unscrewing the wing-nut.
